Here are a few of our most popular choices:
Standard – The default setting is the one your printer uses when you design a new custom paper size. It is usually set to the size you were originally planning to use. Open the document you want to print. Click the Page Setup tab at the top of the page. Choose the settings for the custom paper settings. Set the size of the page to the paper settings of your choice.
A lot of printers offer custom paper sizes when you first purchase the paper. They are typically referred to as “custom” or “universal” paper sizes. They aren’t the best choice for most businesses, but may be suitable for smaller shops or offices. If you write my papers are able to choose of using one of these custom sizes, it might be worth a try. You never know – You might like them enough to keep using the standard sizes of paper.
Pre-Registered Paper: These custom sizes of paper are offered by the manufacturer when you purchase their printers. Visit the printer’s site and search for the page feed settings. You’ll see an option to select custom paper settings. Choose the “register” link in case you’d like to create a custom paper number for the software of the printer.
Many printers let you enter a custom paper number for new custom paper settings. On the “enter” page you’ll see a space where you can enter your custom paper settings. This is the only part of your custom paper settings you must make changes to. The rest is usually managed by the printer’s program. Once your custom paper settings have been saved, the page feeder software will automatically load your new paper settings.
If you prefer to use your normal paper settings rather than your new paper settings, simply click “back” from time to time during the printing process to go back to your normal paper settings. Some printers don’t automatically load pre-registered or customized paper after they’ve been saved. These printers require you to load them manually. Again, if you don’t want to reload the printer’s software, save your custom paper or pre-registered papers and then restart the printer. The printer should now load the new custom paper or preregistered settings.
If you’d prefer to use your normal paper settings instead of your customized paper settings, the “custom” button on your printer’s main page will allow you to select “normal”. Then, all you have to do is follow the directions on your printer’s help documentation to select “custom” as one of the printing options. Keep in mind that the settings for your printer can differ depending on the model of the printer. For instance, certain models will load your customized settings after the printer has started up, while others will load right after the printer has been turned on. In addition, based on the model of your printer, certain printers only load their settings if you select the “load custom settings” option is selected.
